IJEN CRATER

         Ijen crater is the biggest crater lake in java. The sulfur crater lake lies in sulfatara of deeply etched rock. It is 200 meters deep and contains about 36 million cubic meters of steaming acid water, shoureded in a smelling swirling sulfur cloud. Inside the crater the different color and size of sulphur stones are found. Indeed, the crater of Ijen is a beautiful garden of sulphur stone as well.

          The view of sulfur miners who climb and go down to the crater is also amazing. A man puts about I 10 kg of yellowish stone in to the basket, before he descends the mountain slope to sell his load, carrying the same basket, going in the same direction, digging the same mineral. The sulfur collected 6-7 ton a day. It is natural picture that can be seen everyday. It is located in Licin Sub District, 45 km from the city of Banyuwangi.

G-LAND

        G-Land or Plengkung is known as one of the best surfing beachs in the world. The word of “G” in “G-Land” derives from Grajagan, the name of the bay where the huge waves were found at the south of the Banyuwangi. It is surrounded by virgin tropical land forest. G-Land offers the worlds most demanding surfing sport, and recommended for professional surfers only. May to October is the best time for surfing. No doubt it is world of surfer paradise.
Most surfers start from bali, take an overland to Banyuwangi and directly to National Park of Alas Purwo, G-Land or cross the Grajakan Bay to Plengkung beach where the waves challenge invite the surfers. Howevers, it is not recommended for notice.

                    

BEDUL BEACH

     Offering one of the finest ocean tourism objects, Bedul and Segara Anakan fascinates with its breathaking scenery and natural beauty. Located about 70 in the southern of Banyuwangi, it presents the virgin mangrove forest and Segara Anakan with 14 Km in length and 1 Km in wide.
    Mangrove forest which is the complete one in the world with 26 from 27 kinds of Mangrove, combine with bridge, traditional ship Gondang -Gandung, Sea Food and the arrival of migran birds from Australia, a really finest site for local and foreign tourists.
